The refining agent is a white powder or granular flux. After being dried by a variety of inorganic salts, mixed in a certain proportion. It is mainly used to clean the hydrogen, oxygen and floating oxidized slag inside the copper liquid, so that the copper liquid is more pure, and it has the effect of a slag cleaning agent.
Part of the components in the refining agent are easily separated at high temperatures, and the generated gas is prone to hydrogen reaction, and has a strong adsorption force with slag inclusions, and quickly escapes from the melt. Other components have the effect of slag cleaning agent.
The refining agent is suitable for different grades of copper alloys, degassing refining and slag removal. Sprinkle it on the surface of the liquid when using it, stir it well and let it stand for slag removal. The general dosage is about 0.5% of the weight of the copper liquid, depending on the purity of the copper liquid. For the packaging of the refining agent, it should be packed in a film-coated woven bag, 30 kg per bag and 3 kg per small bag. It can also be packaged according to user requirements. Store it in a dry place. If you accidentally get wet, you can continue to use it after drying.
